No Child Is Meant To Crawl Forever

written on 01 November 2021 by Asher Hollway

Art by Nat Iwata

You have taught me how to walk,
I stumble but you are near,
Ready to catch,
You have taught me how to run,
I am slow to start but you are near,
Ready to encourage,
You have taught me how to fly,
I can't see the floor beneath but you are near,
Ready to soar,
Together.
